Dreams of You Memory Book By Kelly Gerken
The Dreams of You Memory Book was created for mothers and families who have lost a baby. This book comes in an 8 by 11 ½ inch hardcover, antique leather bound-look binder format so it is easy to add or change the book to match a parent's unique beliefs, tastes, and wishes. It includes places for parents to journal the dreams they had for their baby, their journey of loss and healing, letters to baby, pages to record the baby's statistics, memorial service, baptism, footprints, mementos, etc. Also included are inspirational poems and comforting scripture from the Bible, as well as the author's personal story of loss, grief, hope and healing.

Comfort Bear
These beautiful, cream-colored, soft fleece Comfort Bears were created by Kathy Rutter in 2005 for grieving mothers to have something to hold to ease the ache of empty arms. Kathy created each one with a grandmother's love and prayers. After a valiant battle with cancer, Kathy went home to heaven in October of 2006. Today her legacy continues as the Helping Hands Ministry gathers to sew the bears, sending a grandmother's love and prayers along with each one.

Baby Gowns
We now offer beautiful satin burial gowns for the precious babies who leave this earth too soon. Sizes range from a baby 12 inches to a full-term newborn size. The back of the gowns are open for easy dressing and the sleeves and bonnets gather with a tie to help ensure the perfect fit. The gowns are also excellent to have at the hospital for precious photograph keepsakes of baby and family.

Dreams of You Memory Baskets
Dreams of You Memory Baskets are available for hospitals, funeral homes, and families in need. Baskets contain the Dreams of You Memory Book, a disposable camera (to take photos of the baby), a caregiver brochure that contains suggestions for the hospital staff on ways to help the parents say good-bye and make a lasting memory with their precious baby, our EXCLUSIVE Comfort Bears to fill those empty arms and grief resources to help answer difficult questions and offer support in the days ahead.

Sponsor a hospital: The needs of hospitals vary. And donation amounts also vary. Many larger hospitals would like to provide our products to patients, but are unable to help compensate for the cost. Most smaller hospitals do give a suggested donation amount in exchange for our products, but for those that are not able, we would like to offer a chance for others to help sponsor hospitals so that they may offer these beautiful memory-making materials to their patients.

*Seminars for Hospital Staff~ Kelly has been a featured speaker at several hospital conferences, including in February 2006 when she appeared as the Keynote Speaker at the Grand Rounds at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Audiences have been touched by her story and find it helpful to gain insight into the bereaved parent's perspective, learn about the importance of compassionate care, and the essential elements of making a lasting memory and understanding the responsibility of the caregiver's role in that process.

There are moments on this walk when we feel we cannot go on. Moments when a friend comes alongside us to point us again to the One who sustains us. A friend to lift us in prayer. A friend to allow us to lean on her as she leans on Him. A friend, who is not afraid to walk through the valley in the rain, with a storm mounting. She is not afraid, because the Lord is her strength and her shield. She is not afraid because she doesn't walk alone. And because He has walked with her through the valleys and the storms, He has sent her to walk with you. And He will carry you both through the rain, through the storm, through the unknown dark alleys to secure, dry ground.
Whether you are a newly bereaved mother or a seasoned mom who has watched the Lord make beauty from ashes in her life. And, even in the early days of grief it can help to have someone who has walked this path that can offer comfort, hope, and most of all prayers.
